White
Langhe Chardonnay
By Massolino - Vigna Rionda, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Massolino's Langhe DOC Chardonnay, made since 1992, shows that the traditionally red-focused Langa can produce a rich, age-worthy white.
Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow of varying intensity. Ripe fruit and mineral notes on the nose. Warm and expansive on the palate with a lingering aftertaste.
Pairs well with
Good with saltwater and some freshwater fish such as trout, and with white or red meats cooked slowly with delicate spices.
