Marenco Scrapona

An organically certified Moscato d'Asti from Scrapona, Marenco's oldest and most prized cru in Strevi's Valle Bagnario, replanted in 1996 by massal selection of its own old vines.

Tasting notes

Straw yellow leaning to gold. Floral aromas of apricot, pear and tropical fruit, delicate and fragrant. Pleasant, characterful palate, sweet without being cloying, fresh and mineral.

Pairs well with

All desserts, especially hazelnut sweets, amaretti and zabaione; excellent outside meals. Also interesting with fresh cheeses, fried food, or as an aperitif.

Grapes hand-selected and hand-picked, gently pressed, must filtered, fermented with natural spuma (no added sugar). Certified organic wine. Alcohol 5% vol.
Serving temperature
Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place; serve at 8-10°C in medium glasses. Ages surprisingly well over several years.
