Red
Ciresa
By Marenco, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
A selective, barrel-aged Barbera d'Asti Superiore from the old vines of the Ciresa vineyard in Strevi, first produced in 1990 and released only in the estate's best years.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red leaning to garnet. Elegant, persistent nose of vanilla and liquorice, fruit and spice. Full and harmonious on the palate, fresh and savoury.
Pairs well with
Rich meat dishes, pasta, risottos and well-aged cheeses.
