White
Ventola
By La Bollina, Gavi, Piemonte, Italy
Ventola is La Bollina's higher-tier Gavi DOCG, part-fermented and aged for 6 months in French barrique (40%) and steel (60%) for extra structure.
Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow with golden reflections. Jasmine and almond blossom, with light hints of pear, yellow peach and vanilla. Good acidity giving freshness, persistence and minerality, balancing the natural softness from light overripening of the grapes.
Pairs well with
Shellfish, raw fish and white meats.
