Red
Bricchetta
By La Bollina, Gavi, Piemonte, Italy
Bricchetta is La Bollina's Monferrato DOC red blend of Barbera and Nebbiolo, aged 14 months in French oak barrique after malolactic fermentation in steel.
Tasting notes
Deep red with violet highlights. Blackberry, plum and fresh fruit layered with vanilla, spice, licorice and mocha. Persistent and complex on the palate, with acidity giving length and freshness despite the ageing.
Pairs well with
Red meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses.
