Diego Pressenda - La Torricella Ariota

A Barbera named for the breeze off the Ligurian sea, grown on light, calcareous soil at the top of the vineyard and aged in French oak.

Tasting notes

Ruby red in color, with rich, intense flavors of black cherries, cranberries and fresh red plums, with undertones of cloves, anise, vanilla and caramel. Bright and juicy on the palate, with lively acidity balanced by velvety, soft tannins.

Pairs well with

Roasted poultry, herbaceous cheeses, grilled pizza with sausage, Tajarin pasta with ragu, or red meat.
