Red
Barbaresco
By Abbona, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy
One of the Langhe's most prestigious and well-known wines, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown northeast of Alba, along the Tanaro river; powerful without ever being overbearing, an important, convivial wine, refined and persuasive.
Tasting notes
Garnet red with ruby reflections that turn orange with age; soft and persuasive, with delicate tannins that are never overbearing, aromas of ripe red fruit with a light spiced note, and barely perceptible acidity that adds freshness.
