Ressia
Azienda Agricola Ressia is a small family estate in Neive, run today by Fabrizio Ressia. The family has handed the business down for about a century, and in 1997 Fabrizio turned it fully to winemaking. He moved to integrated pest management, cut yields, planted new vineyards and modernised the cellar without giving up tradition. All the grapes come from the estate's own vineyards on the steep, south-facing slopes of the Canova cru, and the range runs from Dolcetto, Barbera and Langhe Nebbiolo to Barbaresco and Barbaresco Riserva Canova Serie Oro, with a dry Moscato white called Evien and a rosato, Gavè. Neive is one of the villages of the Barbaresco zone, a short drive from Alba.
