Cortino - Produttori Dianesi

Cortino - Produttori Dianesi

Cortino is a family estate in Diano d'Alba, run by the Boffa family: Gianpaolo, a founder of the winery in the early 1970s, when it was still called Produttori Dianesi, and his sons Andrea, who looks after production and sales, and Marco, who looks after the vineyards. The range is built around Dolcetto, which comes in several forms: a young Diano, a version with no added sulphites, two Sorì bottlings from the La Rocca and Santa Lucia vineyards, a Langhe Dolcetto and a dried-grape sweet wine called Düs Düs. Alongside it sit Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba, a Barolo from Serralunga d'Alba, Arneis, Chardonnay, a Moscato-based Ervie and a Metodo Classico Alta Langa aged in an underground cellar. Diano d'Alba is a hill village of the Langhe known as Dolcetto country, and its wine has its own DOCG.
