Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy Langhe Sauvignon

The most recently introduced of their whites, with a decisive character and intense varietal aromas of bell pepper and tomato leaf.

Tasting notes

Colour: bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. Bouquet: intense, with varietal notes of tomato leaf, celery stalk, peas and freshly cut grass, complemented by fresh notes of peach, grapefruit and lychee. Taste: sapidity and structure give this wine pleasant drinkability and surprising ageing potential.

Pairs well with

Excellent as an aperitif, also pairs with seafood, steamed white meat, grilled vegetables and minestrone.

Communes of Barbaresco (below and in front of Martinenga) and Treiso, in the Monte Aribaldo estate; three parcels with different exposures (south, north and west), at average altitudes of 230m, 250m and 370m a.s.l.

Vinification
Destemming and pressing of the grapes, must clarified by flotation and racked. Fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged and matured on selected lees for four months. Sterile bottling and brief bottle ageing before release.
