Barbera d'Asti
By Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
An estate Barbera from the La Serra vineyard in Cassine (Alessandria), reviving the historic Barbera vocation of the Alto Monferrato hills.
Tasting notes
Colour: intense ruby red with violet reflections. Bouquet: strong and rich aromas of blackberries, raspberries and ripe cherries. Taste: fine and elegant, with great drinkability, its balance owed to the union of bright acidity and full body. A crisp wine.
Pairs well with
Ideal with local salumi and tajarin with meat ragu, also pairs well with fresh cheeses.
