Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy Langhe Chardonnay

A Chardonnay of strong personality with intense fruity aromas of pineapple and banana, typically varietal.

Tasting notes

Colour: bright straw yellow of medium intensity. Bouquet: intense and typically varietal, with notes of apple, pineapple and citrus fruit. Taste: full bodied and sapid, harmonious and persistent, giving pleasant drinkability and good balance.

Pairs well with

Excellent as an aperitif and with fresh spring salads and cold or seafood starters.

Production area
One parcel in the commune of Barbaresco, just below Martinenga, southwest facing at an average altitude of 230m a.s.l., and a second parcel on the northeast side of Monte Aribaldo in the commune of Treiso, at an average altitude of 370m a.s.l.

Southwest and northeast (two parcels)
Vinification
Destemming and pressing of the grapes, must clarified by flotation and racked. Fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged and matured on selected lees for four to six months. Sterile bottling and brief bottle ageing before release.
