A barrel fermented Chardonnay from the Monte Aribaldo estate, complex and long lived thanks to oak ageing.
Tasting notes
Colour: brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections. Bouquet: marked fruity notes of citrus and pineapple, apple and banana, blended with honey, toasted hazelnuts and butterscotch. Taste: sapidity and structure give this wine pleasant drinkability and surprising ageing potential.
Pairs well with
Ideal with richly seasoned seafood dishes. Also excellent with foie gras, offal, blue cheese and tempura.

- Monte Aribaldo estate, commune of Treiso, in the vineyard surrounding Villa Giulia. Northwest facing at an average altitude of about 370m a.s.l.

- Destemming and pressing of the grapes, must clarified by flotation and racked. Fermented in French oak barriques for around twenty-two months with subsequent lees ageing. Sterile bottling and several months of bottle ageing before release.
