Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy

Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy

Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy is a family estate that has farmed vines in the Langhe and Monferrato hills since the late 18th century. Its main seat is Martinenga, a natural amphitheatre of about twelve hectares facing the Barbaresco hills to the south and the Tanaro to the west, which the family has held as a winemaking monopole since 1797. Three Barbaresco labels come from it: Martinenga, Gaiun and Camp Gros.

Three more estates complete the range: Monte Aribaldo above Treiso, planted to Dolcetto, Chardonnay and Sauvignon, and La Serra and Monte Colombo near Cassine in the Alto Monferrato, with Barbera, Moscato and Merlot. The cellar at Martinenga is built entirely underground. Barbaresco is a village in the Langhe hills, a short drive from Alba.
