Tasting notes

Brilliant, crystalline. Citron peel, banana, elderflower and star anise, discreet wood, white pepper and light toasting. Soft, velvety, fresh and savoury, with a chalky finish; intense, structured and long.

Guyot, 4,000 vines per hectare, yield 50 to 60 quintals per hectare; sustainable farming aimed at cutting fungicide use
Vinification
Soft pressing, then the must goes into barriques where fermentation is completed at controlled temperature; about 18 months in barriques and a first ageing in concrete of about 12 months.
Storage
Expected lifespan 15 years and more. Formats 0.75 L, 1.5 L. First vintage 1989.
