The first blended red made in the Langhe, created by Valentino Migliorini in 1976.

Tasting notes

Brilliant, transparent carmine turning garnet. Ripe red cherry and plum, mint and camphor, discreet wood, cinnamon and nutmeg, violet. Palate matches the nose, with well-managed tannins, violet-candy florals, gentian and rhubarb and an endless finish.

Vinification
Fermentation at controlled temperature on the skins; about 24 to 30 months in barriques with a first ageing in concrete, then about 12 months in bottle before release.
Storage
Expected lifespan 20 to 30 years. Formats 0.75 L, 1.5 L, 3 L, 5 L, 12 L. First vintage 1976.
