Tasting notes

Vigna Rionda is a unique Barolo conveying complexity, longevity and structure with unmatched elegance. Brilliant garnet red color with an olfactory profile centered on ripe red fruit and flowers, evolving toward undergrowth, tobacco and spice with ageing. A harmony of sensations that unfold slowly in the glass.

Further grape control and gentle crushing/destemming. Vinification in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 C. Maceration for about 15 days with frequent punching down and gentle pumping over. Aged in fine French oak barriques for 24 months, plus further ageing in bottle before release.
