A Barolo DOCG from the commune of Serralunga d'Alba, 100% Nebbiolo, aged at least 3 years including 18-20 months in 25 hl barrels.

Tasting notes

Garnet red color. Fresh bouquet, rich in small red fruit and floral fragrances, strong spicy notes with licorice and sweet tobacco. Elegant on the palate, with completeness, balance and notable longevity.

Grapes harvested in the first week of October, by hand with careful selection of the bunches directly on the plant.

Careful selection of bunches on sorting tables followed by gentle crushing/destemming. Vinification in steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30 C. Maceration for about 15 days with frequent punching down and gentle wetting of the cap.

Ageing: minimum 3 years, aged in 25 hl barrels for 18-20 months plus further ageing in bottle before release. Ageing potential more than 8 years. Formats: 0.75 l, 1.5 l, 3 l. Closure: technical cork.
