Mauro Veglio Dolcetto d'Alba

Made from Dolcetto grown on the cooler north slope of Cascina Nuova and at Castelletto di Monforte, for a velvety, light wine meant to be drunk young and fresh.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with deep violet hues. Ample, floral aromas with captivating vinous scents and notes of violet and bonbons. Fresh, soft and smooth on the palate, balanced, with light tannins where young, vegetal notes blend with a correct amount of alcohol. Best drunk in its first years, though it can surprise after several years in the bottle.
