Red
Angelo
By Mauro Veglio, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A Nebbiolo made with short fermentation from the estate's younger, more exuberant vineyards in La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Roero, for a fresher, fruitier style.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Fresh, floral and fruity aromas with distinct notes of rose hip, marasca cherry and delicate raspberry. Vinous on the palate with incredible freshness, light, delicate tannins, a fine, balanced body and good aromatic persistence. Made for early consumption, but ages well after several years in the bottle too.
