Mauro Veglio Comune di Serralunga d'Alba

A Barolo sourced between the Manocino and Lirano MGAs in the comune of Serralunga d'Alba, aged in large barrels for a style the estate says is distinct from its La Morra wines.

Tasting notes

Light ruby red. Fruity hints of dark cherry with ferrous, balsamic and spicy notes. On the palate, hints of dark fruit and cherry supported by a lively, young tannic texture suggesting potential for evolution. Drinking well already, with the potential to evolve over the next 20 years.
