Red
Arborina
By Mauro Veglio, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A single-cru Barolo from the Arborina MGA in the hamlet of Annunziata, the first Barolo the family produced and, in their words, the most representative of the estate's style.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with garnet hues. Fruity aromas of excellent intensity and delicate harmony, with notes of small red fruits and black and red currant, and a delicately spicy finish. Delicate and soft on the palate, with excellent balance of alcohol and tannins, good persistence and minerality, and an elegant finish. Enters the market with the potential to age well for many years, while already showing pleasant drinkability.
