White
Sant'Agostino
By Le Marie, Pinerolese, Piemonte, Italy
A white blend from Assarti, fermented cool and aged in steel. About 4,000 bottles a year, 13% to 13.5% vol.
Tasting notes
Deep straw yellow. Broad, delicate nose with floral and fruity notes recalling honey, acacia blossom, banana and citrus. Robust and warm on the palate, with good acidity, nice persistence and a slight mineral aftertaste.
Pairs well with
Aperitif, sea and river fish, delicate first courses and Piedmontese starters (vitello tonnato, chopped vegetable antipasto).
