Noir de Mariette

Le Marie Noir de Mariette

A Pinot Noir from the Mariette vineyard in Ripoira, aged 6 to 9 months in used barriques. About 1,000 bottles a year, 13.5% vol.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with garnet nuances, light and slightly transparent. Good complexity with cherry and strawberry, delicate violet and dill, a hint of vanilla. Fine on the palate, with good acidity and persistence, well-judged tannin and a very delicate finish.

Pairs well with

Like the great red wines: first courses with meat sauces, mushrooms, game and red meats.
