Sweet
Doux de Lissart
By Le Marie, Pinerolese, Piemonte, Italy
A passito from grapes dried for over two months in a fruit loft. About 1,000 bottles a year, 15% vol.
Tasting notes
Deep golden yellow with amber reflections. Rich ripe apricot fruit with a muscat-like root, balsamic wood adding spicy and toasted notes. Rich and creamy on the palate, sweet but also alcoholic, fruity and honeyed, with a fresh acid vein and a very long finish.
Pairs well with
Typical local desserts such as hazelnut cake, meliga biscuits with zabaione, panettone, and also crema catalana or torta diplomatica.
