La Spinetta Campè

Barolo DOCG from the Campè cru in Grinzane Cavour (CN), which Giorgio Rivetti considers the vineyard's maximum expression of Barolo, 100% Nebbiolo, first produced in 2000 with about 7,000 bottles a year. A Riserva version aged at least 10 years is also made, about 400 magnums a year.

Tasting notes

A complex and majestic Barolo, with an aromatic profile that ranges from rose petals to plum and black berries, leading up to white truffles and underbrush. The tannic structure is solid and harmonious, with a full and mighty finish.
