Red
Serena
By Isolabella della Croce, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Elegance and an emphasis on the fruit and typicity of the grape are its defining characteristics.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with lovely violet reflections, an intense, characteristic fruity aroma. Dry, savory and fresh on the palate, with good persistence, pleasant and easy to drink.
Pairs well with
Its structure and typically Piedmontese character, which enhance Barbera's fruit, make it ideal with first courses in elaborate meat sauces and with grilled red meat, stews, roasts and game.
