White
Sauvignon Blanc
By Isolabella della Croce, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Freshness and mineral taste, with an intense bouquet of white flowers and exotic fruit, fully express the character of the Sauvignon Blanc grape.
Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow, clear and bright. The nose opens with marked white flower notes and the variety's typical boxwood character, followed by exotic fruit, mainly pineapple and lychee. On the palate it is fresh, mineral and savory, with good structure and persistence, as befits a high-hill wine grown on poor, calcareous soils.
Pairs well with
Excellent simply as an aperitif with savory preparations, or for a fish-based meal. Also good with light sauces, vegetable first courses or fried white meats.
