Red
Augusta
By Isolabella della Croce, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Taste power and an imposing structure express the grape variety, joined by cleanliness and olfactory elegance.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with clear purple reflections, a complex aroma of good intensity with notes of preserved fruit, vanilla and light toasting. Dry, warm and full-bodied on the palate, with good structure and persistence and pleasant, light tannins in good harmony.
Pairs well with
Excellent with flavorful red meat second courses, braised, roasted or game, and with aged cheeses. Pairs beautifully with the estate's own Fiorentina or a classic American steak.
