Sparkling
Ginevra
By Isolabella della Croce, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
The high-hill setting brings out the wine's acidity and primary aromas, which combine with the notes from a long second fermentation in bottle for a fresh, complex bouquet.
Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow, bright, with a fine, persistent bead. The nose opens with white fruit, bread crust and a mineral note. The palate is fresh, vertical, dry, with good persistence and a savory finish.
Pairs well with
A very food-friendly wine, good as an aperitif, with first courses, grilled dishes and raw fish, or, staying with Piedmontese tradition, with white truffle dishes or a mixed fry.
