Gozzelino Sergio

Named after Sergio Gozzelino, father of Lorenzo, who brought the winery to its present level. 100% Barbera, alcohol 14.5% vol.

Tasting notes

Garnet red turning brick. Bouquet of roses and balsamic eucalyptus alternating with small red fruits (sour cherry, redcurrant) and herbs (thyme, oregano). Full, velvety and enveloping with great freshness and structure; a very long finish with blackberry and blueberry returns.

Pairs well with

Red meats and aged cheeses of great structure. Also suited to a contemplative tasting.
