Barolo

By Gozzelino, Asti, Piemonte, Italy

Gozzelino Barolo

The estate's first Barolo, from La Morra, completing its selection of major varieties. 100% Nebbiolo, alcohol 14.5% vol. The producer notes low sulphite content and no weedkiller in the vineyards.

Tasting notes

Garnet red with brick reflections. Intense and complex, recalling cherry, violet and vanilla. Soft and slightly tannic on the palate with the sweet notes of wood ageing.

Pairs well with

Cured meats and medium-aged cheeses; truffle first courses; red and white meats.
