Tasting notes

Garnet red with orange highlights. Complex, very fruity, elegant, intense, spicy nose with flowery touches. Excellent body with power and stuffing, demanding, masculine, long and full.

Red meats in general, game, mature cheeses.

Estate-grown bunches, thinned during the summer, undergo traditional-style floating cap fermentation for 25 days, then are matured in medium-sized Slavonian oak barrels for about 40 months. Bottled six years after the vintage. Expected cellar life 15 to 25 years.
