Barolo DOCG from the historic Vignarionda MGA, a 0.85-hectare plot with vines dating to 1946 that the family reacquired in 2011, aged 18 to 36 months in Slavonian oak.
Tasting notes
Violet and rose, balsamic notes, wild berry preserve, liquorice root and white truffle. Superb flavour with a delicate unfolding, a harmonious blend of softness, tension and savouriness.
Pairs well with
Squab in Barolo sauce, braised kid goat, Castelmagno blue cheese.

- Vinification
- Grapes are hand-picked in October. After gentle pressing, the must ferments on the skins in steel vats for about 25 days, with daily pump-overs and a délestage halfway through. Aged 18 to 36 months, depending on the vintage, in 16hl casks of Slavonian oak.
