Barolo DOCG from the Serra MGA, one of the highest vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba, on white limestone soil the family has farmed since 1906, aged 18 to 36 months in French oak.
Tasting notes
Blackberry, raspberry pulp, mint and the balsamic character typical of Serralunga. Powerful, structured and full-bodied, with a savoury edge, dense tannins and long persistence.
Pairs well with
Lamb with juniper, jugged hare, Piemontese braised beef (stracotto).

- Vinification
- Grapes are hand-picked in October. After gentle pressing, the must ferments on the skins in cement vats for about 25 days, with daily pump-overs and a délestage halfway through. Aged 18 to 36 months, depending on the vintage, in 25hl and 50hl French oak casks.
