Fratelli Alessandria Speziale

The estate's Verduno Pelaverga, produced almost exclusively in the commune of Verduno from the rare native Pelaverga Piccolo grape; renamed Speziale from the 2011 vintage, fifteen years after the DOC was recognised in 1995.

Tasting notes

An unmistakable spicy scent, especially of pepper, which gives the wine its name; a distinctive colour and, the producer notes, a character that shows why the grape has found its ideal home in Verduno.
