A native Piedmontese white, a close relative of Vermentino, named for once being the favourite variety of a Savoy queen; in production since 1986.

Vineyard planting
Guyot training, 4,500 vines per hectare. Average vine age about 35 years. Total area around 0.30 hectares.
Vinification
Fermentation: 20-25 days in stainless steel at 18-20C. Ageing: 3-4 months in stainless steel, 1-2 months in bottle. Bottled March-April after harvest.

Ageing potential 2-4 years
