Barolo DOCG Riserva from the Villero cru in Castiglione Falletto, a single hectare of 75-year-old vines, aged at least 36 months in large oak.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Complex aromas of red fruit and violet, spice, undergrowth and plum. Intense, deep palate with sweet, enveloping tannins and persistent aromas.

Pairs well with

Beef braised in Barolo, red meat and game dishes, aged cheese, truffle.

Vinification
Fermentation and maceration at controlled temperature in steel, submerged cap, for about 50 days, with manual and automatic pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation in steel; aged at least 36 months in large oak barrels (about 25 hl), Slavonian oak per the estate cellar. Bottled unfiltered.
