San Lorenzo di Verduno

By Diego Morra, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Diego Morra San Lorenzo di Verduno

A single-vineyard Barolo from the San Lorenzo di Verduno cru, aged 18 to 24 months in oak.

Tasting notes

A wide range of aromas from spicy notes to sweeter floral and fruity ones: strawberry, cherry, liquorice and aromatic herbs, with hints of tobacco and leather. Soft and velvety on the palate, clean and fine on the nose, with dense tannins and long persistence.

Pairs well with

Well-structured first courses such as creamed risottos, second courses of meat, braised or boiled meats, and aged mountain cheeses; also well-structured, fatty fish dishes.
