Monvigliero

By Diego Morra, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Diego Morra Monvigliero

A single-cru Barolo from the historic Monvigliero vineyard, farmed by the family since their grandfather Geronimo's time.

Tasting notes

A sensory journey from balanced, lightly shaded reds to perfumes of rose, mature fruit, delicate spices and perhaps tobacco, opening into a warm hug of proper tannins.

Pairs well with

Second courses of meat or aged cheeses, and at the end of a meal with pieces of dark chocolate.
