Comune di Verduno

By Diego Morra, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Diego Morra Comune di Verduno

The estate's communal Verduno Barolo, blending three vineyards within the commune and aged 18 to 24 months in oak.

Tasting notes

Like an intense walk in a forest: fresh, herbaceous notes of alpine herbs and humid forest, with hints of china, tobacco and leather. Soft and velvety on the palate, clear, fine and deep on the nose, with dense but not harsh tannins and long persistence.

Pairs well with

Medium-structured first courses, red meats and cheeses; also fish dishes.
