Tasting notes
Deep ruby with garnet reflections; ripe red fruit and macerated rose, then tobacco, leather and undergrowth. Persistent, soft, warm and harmonious.
Pairs well with
Aged cheeses, game such as hare in salmì, braised beef, beef tagliata, grilled red meat; also a fireside wine after dinner.
