The estate's first label, from Barbera first bottled in 1985. A Barbera d'Asti DOCG from mid-slope vineyards in Canelli, fermented in steel.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby colour; aromas of cherry, plum, blueberry and black pepper. On the palate marked acidity, medium body and medium tannin.
Pairs well with
Tagliatelle with ragù, agnolotti with roast gravy, traditional risottos, bagna cauda, cheese and cured meat boards, summer grills.
