Dogliani Superiore
By Cà Neuva, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy
Dogliani Superiore DOCG, 100% Dolcetto from vines planted in 1988 on calcareous clay, south-facing soil, aged twelve to eighteen months in steel. The label reproduces a handwritten letter dated 1916 from the estate's history.
Tasting notes
Ruby red colour, intense and fruity on the nose with pronounced blackberry, cherry and plum aromas; full-bodied and fragrant on the palate, finishing on a pleasant roundness.
Pairs well with
Full-flavoured dishes, game and mature cheeses.
