Red
Barolo
By Cà Neuva, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy
Barolo DOCG, 100% Nebbiolo from vines planted in 1970 on calcareous, south-facing soil in the Barolo zone; aged in large French oak barrels, with an ageing potential of six to eight years or more.
Tasting notes
A rich, intense meditation wine with an amaranth red colour and an intense, enveloping, heady fragrance. Round and fruity on the palate, harmonious in the mouth.
Pairs well with
Piedmontese meat and game dishes; also holds up well against well aged cheeses.
