Red
Calùpo
By Azienda Giribaldi, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
Dolcetto d'Alba from the 4.85 ha Schiena del Crottino vineyard in Rodello, with a short stay in large wooden barrels.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with the typical violet reflections. Vinous nose with violet and ripe red fruit; plenty of fruit on the palate, with an enveloping softness and a dry, fresh, clean finish.
Pairs well with
Very versatile, from starters to red meat dishes; excellent with agnolotti al plin.
