Nebbiolo from Cascina Valmenera, the estate's home vineyard, on a south west facing amphitheatre of rows above Vezza d'Alba.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with a fine, delicate bouquet of rose and violet, wild strawberry and raspberry. Dry, harmonious and nicely persistent.
Pairs well with
Tajarin with meat sauce, lamb, white meat, game, medium aged cheeses.

- Planted in the late 1990s; Espalier Guyot training; altitude 320 m above sea level
- Vinification
- Temperature controlled fermentation for 15 days, then transferred to tank for malolactic fermentation. Aged partly in second passage barriques and partly in large barrels for 8 to 9 months, then blended in steel for 4 to 5 months before bottling.
