Nebbiolo from 480 m in Albugnano, aged 12 months in large oak. The estate says Nebbiolo has been grown and vinified on the property since 1803.
Tasting notes
Garnet red, austere with a strong sense of place, decided body and good persistence. Dried flowers, violet and delicate balsamic notes on the nose.
Pairs well with
Traditional Piedmontese first courses, medium-aged cheeses and above all important red meats

- De-stemming and crushing, then a long submerged-cap maceration of 15 days (depending on the vintage) at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Aged 12 months in 12 hl oak casks.
