Albarossa, the Nebbiolo-Barbera cross made by Prof. Giovanni Dalmasso in 1938, grown at Cascina della Pieve. Sold in 0.75 and 1.5 L.

Tasting notes

Garnet red, intense with slight orange reflections. Engaging nose of wild blackberry and redcurrant (tech sheet adds white pepper). Velvety, warm, delicately aromatic palate.
