By Sylla Sebaste, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Barbera d'Asti from a vineyard in the Costigliole d'Asti area, made and aged in stainless steel.

Intense ruby red turning slightly garnet with age. Dry, with good alcohol and pleasantly sustained acidity. Intense fruit with a scent of violets. Velvety when young, becoming austere and full with age.
